LifeSize® Adds Director of Global Channels to Sales Team

Industry leader Dan Sibille to bring high definition video communications to mainstream distribution

Austin, Tex. – November 12, 2007 –LifeSize Communications, the global leader in high definition video communications, today announced Dan Sibille was named director of global channels. Dan will report to Adam Taylor, executive vice president of worldwide sales and service for LifeSize. Dan and his team will manage existing and grow new OEM relationships, maximize existing and develop new distribution relationships and develop programs for qualified channel partners.

“As part of my staff, Dan and I will make sure each of the worldwide geographies get the channel support they need to optimize their distribution footprint, and most importantly, generate triple digit growth for the company.” said Adam. “He’s going to help LifeSize do some great things over the next few years, starting today with our new partner, Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ: TECD).”

Dan has almost 25 years of experience in building high performance teams and developing multi-level indirect programs and channel strategies. Most recently, Dan worked at Extreme Networks (NASDAQ: EXTR), where he created an indirect distribution channel and built it into the top performing revenue generator for all of Extreme. Prior to that, Dan worked in highly successful channel sales, program development and management roles at Internet Security Systems, Watchguard Technologies and 3Com (NASDAQ: COMS).

“LifeSize is the most exciting channel opportunity I can imagine, where the ideal product solves a critical market need,” said Dan. “LifeSize delivers high definition video communications using the open internet at a very affordable price. The corporate world is eager to adopt video technology to reduce travel, control expense, pollute less, increase productivity and improve their employees’ quality of life. Our channel partners will help us reach a far broader customer base and expand the use of this exciting technology.”

With the industry’s broadest and most affordable high definition product line, LifeSize executives see expanding distribution and increasing market presence as the key to moving the company from technology leader to market leader.

“Expanding our distribution is essential to our success,” said Craig Malloy, CEO of LifeSize. “We have done well with traditional A/V resellers and select systems integrators. As video becomes a mainstream corporate networking product, we need people who understand how to work with large-scale distributors to develop marketing and education programs that can reach thousands of resellers. Dan has done this successfully in the past and we look forward to his success with LifeSize.”
