LifeSize has implemented and revised internal policies regarding travel, recycling, procurement and other operations to ensure that we conduct our business in an environmentally-sensitive manner.
Our preferred mode of "travel" is high definition video. We are passionate users of our products and believe that frequent video calls eliminate the need for routine business travel. When business travel is necessary, we fly as few people as possible, and select the shortest route available.
LifeSize has implemented paper, plastic, cardboard, and aluminum can recycling at our corporate headquarters, and we regularly recycle our old electronic and office supply items, such as screens, printers, phones. However it's not just about recycling, we stay concious of ways we can reduce and reuse, such as using water purifiers in every kitchen - decreasing our plastic water bottle waste, purchasing over 90% of our office equipment as used, and purchasing post-consumer recycled content in our consumable items such as cups, napkins, printer and copier paper. We discourage printing and where possible, we use double-sided printing on our duplexing printers to reduce paper usage.
