Recycle Your Electronics

Recycle Your ElectronicsLifeSize® is committed to fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities as a global corporate citizen. As a manufacturer, these responsibilities include ensuring that our products are safely and efficiently manufactured and properly disposed of.

Manufacturing Standards

We ensure all our products used worldwide meet the requirements of the Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) legislation enacted together by the EU and Japan, even though compliance is not required. China has also enacted similar legislation, and all products shipping directly into China are China RoHS compliant and specifically labeled as such.

To build these systems, LifeSize employs the services of a world-class electronics manufacturing partner, whose manufacturing operations were awarded the ISO 9001/9002 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) certifications. These designations involve rigorous documentation and inspection by accredited auditors to certify that processes are in place for quality, environmental and regulatory compliance.

Recycling Information

Even with top-flight manufacturing standards, electronic components can pose an environmental hazard if not disposed of properly. LifeSize supports and adheres to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and implementing regulations which entitles LifeSize customers that purchase new equipment to:

  • send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis (this varies depending on the country)
  • send the new equipment back for recycling when this ultimately becomes waste.
