In July, Logitech, the parent company of LifeSize, acquired Mirial. This small Italian firm developed software to expand video conferencing to smartphones and tablets.

Now, following close on the heels of the acquisition, LifeSize is introducing a new product to the market called LifeSize ClearSea Server. Available as a hardware appliance or virtual machine software, ClearSea includes a state-of-the-art HD desktop client for the PC or Mac, as well as Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
