Joe Vitalone brings sales vision and proven track record to support company growth and expansion.
Lifesize Communications, Inc., the global leader in high definition video communications, today announced that Joe Vitalone has been named Vice President of Sales for the Americas. Vitalone, an industry veteran, and former sales executive in leading telecommunications companies, brings over 25 years of sales and business development experience to Lifesize. Reporting to Adam Taylor, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services, Vitalone will manage the North America, Canada, Central and Latin America regions.

Prior to joining Lifesize, Vitalone was a company Officer and Vice President North America Sales for ShoreTel where he tripled revenues in 4 years and managed the sales team through ShoreTel’s transition from being privately held to a publically held company. Vitalone began his sales career at Mitel, and then entered the video conferencing market in its early days as the sales leader for PictureTel, followed by ViaVideo Communications (which was subsequently acquired by Polycom). Vitalone was the Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Polycom in 2000, driving their marketshare to 75% of the audio speaker phone market and 56% of the worldwide video conferencing market, where Vitalone's team delivered over $225M in annual sales. Vitalone also served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at CoVi Technologies and held management positions at Siemens, AT&T Wireless, and Wire One Technologies. Joe holds a B.A. in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.
