Q. How many blocks make up each piece in Tetris?
The name Tetris comes from a combination of the Greek numerical prefix tetra and the game of tennis. Tetris was released on June 6, 1984, and featured tile-matching gameplay composed of tetrominoes, a geometric shape composed of four squares or blocks.
Seven different tetrominoes appear in the game: I, J, L, O, S, T and Z.
