At LifeSize, we pride ourselves in making products that change the way the world communicates. In the past, this meant making room systems for large conference rooms, boardrooms and executive corner offices. However, the modern business landscape is rapidly evolving and meetings are no longer happening in conference rooms and offices alone; mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops are stealing the scene in a big way. Over the past few years, we’ve been developing our product portfolio to reflect this change and you’ll notice that our solutions have never been simpler, more affordable or more mobile…
For this reason, we felt that “LifeSize” is just too big of a name to accurately describe what it is we do at our company. Sure, video communications provides a lifelike experience in high definition, but our devices are getting smaller and smaller. In fact, our video evangelist Simon Dudley famously said, “Everyone has a video conferencing device in their pocket. They just don’t know it.” It was some interesting food for thought.
After many months of deliberation, our company has decided to rename itself to … BiteSize! We feel that this name more accurately represents our company and our transition to simpler, easier and ultimately more mobile video conferencing solutions. We’ve even employed the help of our favorite graphic design company for a logo to reflect our new brand personality. Here’s just a “taste” of the new look and feel that we’re cooking up for the company:
