Calendar Integration in the Conference Room

Your meeting technology shouldn’t get in the way of your conversations. With the launch of our new calendar integration, Enterprise and Premium customers can easily subscribe their Lifesize® Icon™ systems to their Microsoft® Office 365® or Google Apps for Work™ calendar for some great new meeting room functionality — including the easiest, most intuitive meeting room experience we’ve ever released.

Ready to Join the Meeting?

Both the display connected to your Lifesize® Icon 400/600/800™ and Lifesize® Phone™ HD will now prompt participants to join the scheduled meeting right on time. Just invite a calendar-subscribed Icon system to the meeting, and it will pop up with a simple “Do you want to join the meeting?” dialogue. All the participant has to do is hit “Yes” to start the call — an IT admin’s dream come true.

Check Room Availability

Each Icon system and connected Lifesize Phone HD will display today’s and tomorrow’s meeting agenda. See when the room is available right from the display and never get caught squatting in a reserved room again. No worries if a meeting time changes (yeah, because we all know that never happens); the calendar integration updates automatically so your meetings are always up to date.

New Customizability for Lifesize Phone HD

You can now add a new quick-start icon to view the upcoming calendar entries on Lifesize Phone HD. Check out our blog for a full list of Phone HD customizations.

Whether it’s your first time using a video conferencing system or your tenth video call for the week, our calendar integration is designed to minimize the technology interaction and get you right into the conversation. The conference room is a critical part of your collaboration strategy, and calendar integration adds another level of simplicity to the award-winning Lifesize experience.
