Full Suite of LifeSize Endpoints Now Qualified to Interoperate with Microsoft OCS 2007 R2

by Jacey Overton, Corporate Communications Manager, LifeSize

Having déjà vu from earlier this year? In February 2011, we announced that LifeSize® Team 220™ was qualified to interoperate with the Microsoft OCS platform. Now, we can officially add even more of our products to that list including LifeSize® Room 220™, LifeSize® Express 220™ and LifeSize® Passport™.

We are extremely excited to announce this news and believe we are now one step closer to making the video call as ubiquitous as a phone call. By making our products interoperable with third-party vendors and UC environments, like Microsoft OCS and Lync, users can now experience seamless video calling across the enterprise to shared workspaces, desktop PCs and mobile platforms anywhere in the world.

“Once we achieved qualification with our Team 220 system, it was the next logical step to expand that offering to our entire line of products,” said Craig Malloy, chief executive officer of LifeSize and Logitech senior vice president. “I believe that our strong relationship with Microsoft reinforces LifeSize’s dedication to delivering a truly integrated video communications experience to anyone, anywhere.”

These products are currently on display at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference from July 10-14 in Los Angeles. If you would like to learn more about this announcement or any of our products, stop by Booth #407 and say “howdy”! (Our HQ is in Texas, after all.) We will be on your left as you walk through the entrance.
