I bought my wife a Kindle not long after they came out. I watched her enjoy it for a year before I bought the K2 for myself. Kindle is a really nice product but you have to be careful about the books you buy, especially old books – formatting may be poor. The “try before you buy” feature helps with that.

Always enjoy reading your blogs. I was on the fence about buying my husband a Kindle, but I know now what he’s getting for his b’day next month! As for making decisions based on data rather than emotions is certainly good practice but so hard to acheive!

I like upgrading too. But the minimal Step from 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 for LifeSize Control was really bad – we cant`t see the Devices actually in conferencing. And this is essential for administration. Because there in no option to downgrade/fallback, we have to deinstall und reinstall LifeSize Control.
Bad.
But I hope for 4.2 …

LifeSize, LifeSize, LifeSize!!! I wan’t everything to do with LifeSize. Since the first 2 units I installed nearly 2 years ago we now have 11 location worldwide. I have trouble sleeping at night just waiting for the desktop client to become available…something I have requested for over a year. Keep it coming LifeSize.

Hi Casey, Thanks for posting Everything is Amazing, Nobody is Happy. It really made me laugh. I am in the age group to remember the days of rotary phones, no voice mail and going to the bank to write a check for cash! I actually miss those seemingly carefree days where we weren’t tethered by cell phones, pda’s, email and now – Twitter, Facebook and on and on — It’s a very different world today and this clip reminded me of how much it has changed!! Closet star trek chick geek here. Favorite episode has to be the trouble with tribbles. Favorite gadget that has appeared – holograms, though they are still not as mainstream yet. Waiting for the stun phaser – a real working model, not the stun guns used now in law enforcement. Favorite all time quote, ‘ KHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNNN!” The Star Trek reference to the video conferencing is the same one I use to explain HD video system (LifeSize) to others. Clicks very quickly for them. And wasn’t that movie great?? So many talking points…
