  1. Melissa says:

The product is great, but what about price point? Is it cost effective. Could a user mount their own web cam and PC to accomplish the same? I attended the conference and the demonstrations and believe the lrs is the way to go but can’t get any pricing info which is concerning. As I try to recommend lrs as the solution for our environment others point out the in-house alternative is more cost effective. As budgets are being defined for qtr3 there isn’t anything other than it will be available. In a budget plan would it 500, 2000, 10000? It makes a difference. For now the option is to go with the known, a camera, workstation, displays, mics and speakers.

Will LRS1000 work with Lync Online in Office 365 or is it only compatible with an on premise Lync server?

  8. iavarone consulting says:

Hello Chiara, Thank you for this interesting article. I could not find any further technical documentation. Coming from the classical video conferencing and Telepresence side, I am interested in more specific information regarding the table control unit, the camera specification as well as the touch screen and whiteboard functions. Compatibility with the CX 5000 roundtable camera would also be interesting to find out. Any chance I could talk to techie-guy or developer directly? Please add my email to the news – Many Thanks and Greeting, Don
