Strong Quarter-Over-Quarter Sales Results Demonstrate Growing Industry Market Share

LifeSize®, the high definition video communications company, today announced that market momentum continues to shift to high definition as sales of LifeSize video communications systems have steadily climbed worldwide quarter-over-quarter. Since releasing its flagship product LifeSize® Room™ in December 2005 and introducing LifeSize® Team™ in August 2006, LifeSize has experienced significant market share growth within every region as both existing and new users embrace high definition video communications.

LifeSize was the first company to deliver high definition video communications products. Since then other entrants have attempted to introduce similar offerings or high-end telepresence suites, but LifeSize offers the very best price-to-performance on the market. With LifeSize Room intended for large, geographically distributed participants in multiple locations and LifeSize Team geared for smaller, remote project groups, LifeSize is able to provide organizations of all sizes a high quality, high performance, cost-effective high definition video communications experience.

LifeSize added well over 100 new customers across the Americas, EMEA and APAC in the first quarter – during what is typically a flat to down period in the videoconferencing industry – to favorably position the company as the high definition video communications market leader with thousands of systems shipped to date worldwide.
