Have You Heard? LiveOps is Moving to Texas!

This is an exciting time for LiveOps. The economy is continuing its slow-and-steady uptick, so companies are open to investing in new products and services to improve their customer service delivery. New social tools are introduced seemingly daily, opening new avenues to provide customer service. And have you heard our news? We’re moving.

Texas, here we come!

LiveOps is moving its headquarters to Cedar Park, Texas, just outside Austin. Construction on our new 25,000 square foot facility will begin before the end of this year. While the work to perfect our new space is ongoing, we will make use of a temporary office in Austin. And get acquainted with all of the wonderful things the Austin area has to offer…

Austin calls itself the “live music capital of the world,” with hundreds of live shows every year. The University of Texas is headquartered in Austin, as well as the State Capitol. It’s family friendly, with numerous activities, museums and sports for kids. Texas offers a lower cost of living than Silicon Valley. There is no shortage of outdoor activities, from biking to hiking to boating to rock climbing in parks, lakes and the Colorado River. Formula 1’s Circuit of the Americas raceway is in Austin. And every March brings the much-anticipated South by Southwest Conferences and Festivals—better known as SXSW.

There’s a lot of opportunity for LiveOps in Austin too. It’s a hotbed of tech and entrepreneurial talent and the city is growing at a rapid speed. The time was right for us to harness that energy to help us continue our own growth. We will be expanding in the Lone Star state, with plans to hire more employees at all levels, across numerous departments – sales, operations, human resources, marketing and engineering. And, of course, we will continue to improve our products and services so we can offer the best contact center solutions to our customers.

Silicon Valley has served us well and we will certainly miss the area. It’s always somewhat bittersweet to move, whether it’s a home or an office move. There’s excitement about new adventures on the horizon and reflection on experiences you’ve had. We’ll still have an office in Silicon Valley so we aren’t really leaving the place it all began—just starting a new chapter.

We were grateful for the support of the Governor of Texas and the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant we received to help with relocation expenses. Texas is welcoming LiveOps with open arms and we are beyond excited to be making the move. Watch for more LiveOps news in the near future…the move is just one piece of the greater puzzle. I look forward to sharing more with you soon.
