Choose the phone numbers you want

We’ve added a new section in the Admin Console that enables Lifesize Cloud customers to select up to three phone numbers to display in email and calendar invitations and on the Call Me page for guest users. The main number selected will also appear in the My Info screen in the Lifesize app, Lifesize Icons and Lifesize Phones.

Date selection enhancements added to Lifesize Cloud Admin Console

We’ve made it easier to sort your call information. After selecting View all under Call History, Users or Video Systems or after clicking on the Call Quality chart on the Dashboard, account managers can adjust the date range directly from that page without having to go back to the Dashboard.

Improvements to volume control on Lifesize Phone HD

The volume icon has been moved to the left-hand side of the main Active Call screen for quick access when you’re in a call.

Would you like to get more details about your calls? On the Dashboard of the web console, administrators can now see the date, duration and participant count of all calls in their Lifesize Cloud account.

Group Chat comes to Lifesize Cloud

People working on project teams have asked for group chat to enhance collaboration and now Lifesize Cloud has it. With this release all existing meeting rooms are instantly upgraded and new meeting rooms automatically include group chat.

Any member of the Lifesize Cloud account can join group chats. Anyone can visit a meeting room at any time and join current or future chats. Chat history is always available and can serve as the minutes of a meeting or the record of decisions made and work accomplished.

February 29, 2016 Update

Quick gestures for Lifesize Phone HD now available

Quick gestures have been added for Lifesize Phone HD attached to a Lifesize Icon system. For example, while in a call, a two-finger touch on any screen will mute or unmute audio.

On-screen menu enhancement

When you’re not in a call, the Lifesize Icon on-screen menu will hide after 10 seconds.

With a bigger and sharper display and improved touchscreen performance, the new Lifesize Phone HD makes it easy to deploy, manage, and update your Icon systems through the Lifesize Cloud service. The phone has four options on the home screen, so you can easily Start managing your systems, place a Call, Present data from your laptop, or adjust the Camera. It’s the only device you need on your conference room table.

Easy management of recordings for Icons connected to Cloud

New bandwidth settings for enhanced video and presentations

The default bandwidth for calls placed with Cloud desktop apps has been increased from 1152 kb/s to 1328 kb/s. In addition, the bandwidth allocation between video and presentation on two-way calls is now 50/50, allowing for premium rendering of presentations while maintaining high quality video.

More control over participants for moderators, lecturers, and meeting owners

Lifesize Cloud App (February 2015)

In this release we rolled out our Enterprise Subscription Plan, which is a simple, efficient and effective way to entitle your entire organization with Lifesize Cloud so that every employee will be able to make video calls on demand—at their desks, on the go and in meeting rooms. As an Enterprise Subscription Plan customer, you’ll gain exclusive new features like unlimited virtual meeting rooms and Microsoft® Lync® interoperability, just to name a couple. You’ll also be automatically enrolled in our new Lifesize Extreme Enterprise Support Service, which provides a dedicated customer obsession team, 24/7/365 support and access to special communities and beta features.

We also provided several exciting enhancements: our Enterprise Subscription Plan customers are now able to connect with Microsoft Lync 2013 users. Lync users simply click on the Lync button on the Lifesize Cloud “Call Me” page to join a Lifesize Cloud meeting from their Lync client. Users can now schedule Lifesize Cloud video calls from Google Calendar™ using the Lifesize Google Chrome Extension and also from Microsoft® Outlook® using the Lifesize Microsoft Outlook Add-In. Users can now also designate a primary presenter to show full-screen at the point of meeting creation.

Furthermore, we made enhancements to the dashboard in our web console so that account managers can now view active and available users, and we now offer support for iPhone® 6 and iPhone® 6 Plus devices. We also added local dial-in numbers for the following countries: Bahrain, China, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Georgia, Hungary, Malaysia, Malta, Norway, Panama, Slovenia, and Turkey.

Lifesize Cloud App (December 2014)

In this release we provide several exciting enhancements: Mac and Windows users have the ability to create a Favorites list; Windows users can chat; account managers can add external entries to the shared directory and select a specific date range to view in the web console dashboard and also select a primary presenter to show full-screen; guests can now use Internet Explorer to join a call via plug-in; and we've added a local telephone dial-in number for South Korea.

Lifesize Cloud App 9.0.60 (September 2014)

In this release Lifesize® 220™ Series video systems (Lifesize® Room 220™, Lifesize® Room 220i™, Lifesize® Team 220™, Lifesize® Express 220™) can now be paired to Lifesize Cloud providing the wonderful benefits of the service like: quick and easy setup, shared directory and virtual meeting rooms, automatic software updates, and call escalation for group calls with up to 25 participants. We also now offer the ability to assign multiple account managers via the web console.

Lifesize Cloud App 9.0.54 (August 2014)

In this release Windows users will now be able to select one of their open application windows or their desktop to share as a presentation. Account Managers can now access the MSI installer for the Windows app from the Advanced Settings page in the Web Console. This allows administrators to distribute the installer with their IT tools. Additional improvements and minor fixes are also included.

Lifesize Cloud App 9.0.44 (July 2014)

In this release users can experience the most vivid, realistic video quality on the market with up to p60 group video calls on Lifesize Icon room video systems, and Account Managers can centrally manage all registered video systems via the Web Console.
