As Lifesize’s first CFO, Bill successfully steered the company’s early financial and operational growth, including the company’s successful acquisition by Logitech in 2009. Paape’s passion for the industry and belief in Lifesize’s reinvention and long-term opportunity as a high-growth, cloud-based video collaboration leader brought him back to Lifesize in 2016. Through his financial stewardship and comprehensive management expertise, Bill is responsible for charting Lifesize’s financial stability and overall operating success.

Prior to rejoining Lifesize, Bill served as CFO at Santé Ventures and held vice president and CFO positions at Bloomfire and SolarBridge Technologies. Before Lifesize was founded, Paape worked with Craig Malloy as CFO at ViaVideo Communications, a video conferencing start-up that was acquired by Polycom in 1998. Bill is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA in finance and a BBA in accounting/business honors, both from the University of Texas.
