MEDIA ADVISORY: Lifesize Wins 2014 NetworkWorld Asia Readers’ Choice ‘Rising Star’ Award

End Users in Asia Recognize Lifesize for its Strong Potential to Improve Communication and Collaboration across the Enterprise

Austin, Texas — Nov 30, 2014

Lifesize, a division of Logitech (NASDAQ: LOGI) (SIX: LOGN) today announced it won the 2014 Rising Star: Communication and Collaboration Award at this year’s NetworkWorld Asia (NWA) Readers’ Choice Awards in Singapore. This annual awards program recognizes industry leaders who have made the most impact on Asian enterprises over the last year.

“Winning this Rising Star Award for Communication and Collaboration validates Lifesize’s approach of providing companies with a connected experience,” said Craig Malloy, CEO of Lifesize. “Lifesize Cloud delivers the only blend of hardware, software, UX and service to allow anyone, anywhere to be seamlessly connected on any device, especially conference rooms.  Plus, our affordable and easy-to-manage SaaS deployments address how a majority of companies want to manage their technology, from purchase to maintenance. We’re thrilled to be honored by end users who understand the profound value of our offering.”

The 2014 Product Excellence/Rising Star Awards are conferred based on the voting results from readers of NetworkWorld Asia magazine and NetworksAsia website. Readers voted for the IT vendors that have made the most impact on their organizations over the last year, as well as newer players they believe will be making a major impact in the industry.

“Cloud-based solutions for enterprise communications are going to see enormous growth, thanks to the maturation of Infrastructure-as-a-Service technology that can support the bandwidth, stability and availability the enterprise expects,” noted Victor Ng, South-East Asia Bureau Chief of NetworkWorld Asia. “Lifesize recognizes the opportunity to redefine team collaboration and real-time communications, as many forward-thinking companies are moving to a model that puts video in every conference room, as well as in the hands of every knowledge worker.”

The voting period was in August and September 2014. Voting was open to all readers, on a private web-based survey site, with invitations sent to CIOs, senior technology managers and IT project heads in end-user organizations from NetworkWorld Asia magazine and NetworksAsia website’s readership base. 280 respondents cast votes for the top technology vendors across 44 categories.
