Technology Industry Veteran Simon Claringbold to lead Asia Pacific Sales; New Office Locations and Expanded Service Centers Support Growth in Region

Lifesize Communications, Inc., a global leader in high definition video communications, today announced Simon Claringbold has been named vice president of sales for Asia Pacific. Claringbold, a high-tech industry veteran, joins Lifesize from Microsoft Corporation and brings over 20 years of IT sales and services management experience to Lifesize. Lifesize also announced expanded sales and services locations in APAC with the addition of new sales offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, and technical service and support centers in Bangalore, India, Shanghai, China, and Singapore.

Prior to joining Lifesize, Claringbold was senior director of services sales for Microsoft Asia Pacific where he reengineered the go-to-market for the services sales organization. Prior to Microsoft he held senior executive positions at Avaya in both Asia Pacific and Europe, eLoyalty Corporation and TNT Australia. Claringbold holds an MBA in Business Management with an undergraduate degree in Computer Studies, Banking and Financial Commerce. Claringbold will be based in the Lifesize APAC office in Singapore.
