Casey King Promoted to Key Leadership Position to Continue Driving Lifesize’s Progressive Technology Innovation and Strategic Product Vision
Lifesize® , the high definition video communications company, today announced that Casey King has been promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer. As a key member of the executive management team, Mr. King will continue to drive Lifesize’s technology innovation and strategic product vision to further advance Lifesize as an industry leader.
“Casey has made a significant contribution to the development and success of Lifesize’s first generation high definition video communications products in the past few years,” said Craig Malloy, CEO of Lifesize. “In his new role as CTO, Casey will be instrumental in shaping the future products and solutions that Lifesize delivers so we continue bringing the most innovative and highest caliber technology to market.”
Mr. King joined Lifesize in September 2003 as a principal engineer with responsibilities centered on designing and developing the world’s first high definition video communications product – Lifesize® Room™ – in December 2005. Prior to Lifesize, Mr. King was a software architect at Austin startup Alchemy Semiconductor and later became an AMD Fellow when Advanced Micro Devices acquired Alchemy in 2002. Mr. King also spent 12 years at Apple® where he held various product development and leadership roles in the areas of graphics, multimedia and processor design. While at Apple he was a member of the original QuickTime team, contributing to the project for 10 years. Mr. King began his career at Link Flight Simulation where he developed advanced aircraft simulation products.
