New Products Include Powerful Gateways and High Definition Multipoint Control Units
Lifesize, the high definition video communications company, today announced a new suite of enterprise-class video network infrastructure products designed to provide network interoperability, and deliver feature-rich, reliable and high quality video and multimedia communications across distributed organizations. The new products are Lifesize® Gateway™, Lifesize® Gatekeeper™ and Lifesize® Multipoint™, with Lifesize Gateway and Lifesize Gatekeeper available today and Lifesize Multipoint available later this quarter.
Lifesize® Gateway™
Lifesize Gateway ensures seamless connections between IP and ISDN video systems, thus gaining dramatic improvements in productivity through high definition advanced gateway support. Users of Lifesize high definition video communications solutions, or other video conferencing products, are able to leverage their existing network infrastructures to realize a simple, easy to connect video experience through Lifesize Gateway. Lifesize Gateway is available for either serial or PRI interfaces; is interoperable with standards-compliant gatekeepers, terminals and MCUs; and is scalable for centralized or distributed environments. Lifesize® Gatekeeper™
Lifesize Gatekeeper is a standards compliant H.323 gatekeeper that provides high-performance, intuitive network management of IP telephony and video communications. With an easy to use interface, Lifesize Gatekeeper ensures optimal bandwidth utilization to deliver carrier grade, best quality video call completion over any network and protocol. Lifesize Gatekeeper provides intelligent IP network management with Web-based interface for optimal accessibility; URL addressing and multiple sub-zones for bandwidth control and traffic optimization; and real time event status. List Price: $12,999 USD.
Lifesize® Multipoint™
Lifesize Multipoint is a high definition Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) designed to support multi-site conferencing for up to 24 simultaneous locations with 720p video quality and high fidelity audio. The product is architected to preserve the true high definition quality for all sites when used with Lifesize video communications endpoints. List Price: $29,999 USD for 12 ports, $49,999 USD for 24 ports.
