Last night at Aragon Transform, Lifesize added another significant industry accolade by being recognized as the 2019 Aragon Research Innovation Award recipient for Web and Video Conferencing. Lifesize stood alone as the sole winner in the prominent category.

Lifesize awarded Aragon Research Innovation Award for 2019

Aragon Research’s annual Innovation Awards “recognize providers leveraging visionary use of technology to not only adapt as markets change, but to actively disrupt and inform how their markets will evolve.” Earlier this year, Aragon Research also identified Lifesize for pioneering 4K video conferencing and as one of only four providers named a‘Hot Vendor’ in Web and Video Conferencing for 2019.

We are proud to have played the role of disruptor in leading the market into a new era of 4K video collaboration over the past year, just as we blazed the trail toward high definition video conferencing earlier this decade. As we prepare to close the chapter of 2019 and the 2010s, we believe that cross-vertical progress, adoption and evolution will only continue. According to Aragon founder and lead analyst Jim Lundy: “By year-end 2022, 4K video will become a requirement for video-enabled business applications in healthcare, security, entertainment, and executive-level interactions.”

Beyond 4K architecture and meeting room systems, our relentlessly innovative heritage has encompassed and resulted in countless video conferencing service and app features, the completely browser-based free Lifesize Go experience, best-in-class meeting room devices and a commitment to advancing WebRTC standards and community. It’s that constant innovation, on behalf of our customers and partners, that makes Lifesize a collaboration industry mainstay and a company to watch in 2020.
