The Room Controller tablet app for Lifesize Dash has been updated with a new look and feel, more intuitive control, and an improved user experience.

August 2019


This new 3.2.0 software release adds 2x zoom capability to Lifesize Icon 300.  It also delivers other enhancements including support for a 4K custom background and USB RS-232 support, as well as several additions to the command line interface and important bug fixes for Icon 300 and 700.

April 2019


We are pleased to announce that new features are available in the Lifesize mobile app. Previously introduced for users to try out in Beta Features Mode, the following features are included as standard in the latest release:

  • A new home screen to help you quickly join a meeting or schedule a call
  • See all your upcoming meetings and manage your calendar
  • Change your settings to only see your Lifesize meetings

June 2018


  • Adds the ability to add a participant while in a call using the mobile app.
  • Help files for the new mobile app are now available in 15 languages.

November 2017


Includes an automatic cleanup feature for inactive meetings. In the admin console, you will notice a new label next to your meetings that are expiring soon – making it easy for you to check status at a glance.


Version 3.5 includes improvements to ending a call in an escalated call and in a call in a virtual meeting room. It also includes important fixes and resolves several bugs.

August 2017


Version 3.4 release includes several enhancements for Lifesize Icon conference room systems. Moderator controls have been improved so that moderators can end the call for anyone, and participants can only end the call for themselves. On Lifesize Phone HD and Phone, 2nd Generation, you can now easily see if a system is in Do Not Disturb mode. The release also includes important fixes for stability and performance.

June 2017


Version 3.3 includes enhancements where Lifesize Icons that are moderator muted are in a locked mute state until the moderator unmutes the participant and the improved user interface shows that the moderator has issued a Mute All. Added support for NEC PBX systems, AZERTY keyboard support for customers in France, and security improvements were made to make calls more secure.
