Lifesize aims to make video mission-critical with new videoconferencing service SLA

It's probably safe to say videoconferencing is not mission-critical to most enterprises, but next-generation videoconferencing vendors are hoping to make video as important as the phone. In the hopes of pushing video further into the enterprise, cloud-based video communications and collaboration services provider Lifesize is putting its money where its mouth is (well, somewhat).

This week, the company launched a financially-backed service level agreement for its cloud-based video service. Now available to its Lifesize Extreme Support subscribers, the new SLA guarantees 99.9 percent availability of Lifesize Cloud to its Extreme Support customers. This is, of course, in addition to all of the other benefits of subscribing to the highest level support tier – 24/7/365 access to the Lifesize support team, dedicated onboarding and lifetime account management.
